River Medway Business Users Association

The River Medway Business Users Association (RMBUA) was formed in 2001 with the aim of promoting the use of the river Medway as a conduit for business. Its members operate businesses throughout the length of the river within the unitary authority's jurisdiction, ranging from international companies to small private enterprises, including those meeting the demands of the maritime leisure industry. RMBUA supports the development of new wharves and is determined to protect existing riverside commerce through a process of education and awareness ensuring that the people of Medway understand how vital the river is to local businesses, the leisure industry and the transportation of goods.
