This course is a follow on to the first Web Marketing course but does not exclude delegates who have not been on the first course.

Is your website a benefit or a liability? This full-day workshop will help you to understand how YOUR website should be working for your business or organisation and enable you to take action in effective online and offline promotion, driving visitors to your website.

The course will start with recapping for those who attended the first course and to raise awareness for those who did not attend the first course. This will help to bring people up to the same level for the training.

The rest of the course will cover new material throughout the day. Email marketing is a large section and will cover all the relevant aspects of email marketing from selection of tools and systems, to running the email campaigns to legal issues relating to direct mailing. Database development and the integration of the email to the website, analysis and looking for opportunities from the results.

Google Adwords will cover the set up and research required, writing a good Adwords ad, the follow through to the website and then analysis of the results and how to focus the Adwords campaign to target specific customers

Social media and some of the latest techniques and how companies can determine if their business can use Social media to build their business.

- Building an effective network of inbound links
- Online directories for greater exposure - Cost versus Value
- Online PR - getting your message out to your customers through news releases and articles
- Social networking and forum boards; blogging - what is it and should you do it
- E-mail marketing: contacts and copy, staying legal, avoiding the spam trap
- Google Adwords and Pay per click programmes
- Banner advertising - is it right for your business
- Offline promotion, driving traffic to the website
- Where to start - action plan for ROI

The course runs from 9:30 - 16:30.
