Venue: Melbourne, Australia

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) and the Australian Institute of Petroleum (AIP) invites delegates to attend the International Oil Spill Conference for the Asia-Pacific region - - Global, Regional, Local.

While organised by Australia's key government and industry agencies responsible for Australia's marine environmental protection arrangements, Spillcon 2010 is also supported by Marine Safety Victoria, the Port of Melbourne Corporation and the International Maritime Organization.

In keeping with its theme, the Conference will bring together local, regional and global environmental
and shipping representatives across industry, government and non-government organisations to provide an avenue to discuss issues including cause and prevention, preparedness, response management and environmental issues. A raft of high calibre national and international speakers will address the Conference on their particular areas of expertise.

Spillcon 2010 will also profile an expansive number of exhibitors and equipment and include sessions on Legislation and Policies, recent Incidents and Case Studies, HNS Response, Transport, Preparedness, Technology, and Media Response.

A separate one-day Response Issues Seminar will be held on the fifth day of the Conference and the Seminar will provide an excellent opportunity for interactive debate between presenters and delegates.

If you wish to register your interest in attending Spillcon 2010 as either a delegate, exhibitor or sponsor, email spillcon@amsa.gov.au or go to https://www.spillcon.com/index.asp
