Seminar on Maritime Business Opportunities in Central and South America, 16th September 2014, London

Many opportunities are starting to open up in the naval defence and maritime security markets of Central and South America as various nations there embark on medium to long term plans to re-equip their navies and coast guards with platforms, updated systems and equipments. This seminar, organised by SMI, will help companies assess the importance of exploiting this potentially exciting market.

The forthcoming International Maritime and Naval Exhibition, EXPONAVAL 2014, which will take place in Chile at the end of the year, will be an ideal opportunity for UK industries to further promote themselves in this region of the world by exhibiting in the UK pavilion which is being jointly organised by the Society of Maritime Industries and the UKTI Defence and Security Organisation.

The seminar will be held at the offices of the Society of Maritime Industries, 28-29 Threadneedle Street, London EC2R 8AY on Tuesday 16 September 2014. Registration will begin at 1030 and the presentations will start at 1100. On completion delegates are invited to a networking buffet luncheon.

Industry representatives, especially from SMEs, who are involved in the many aspects of marketing products and services, are strongly urged to attend.
