Regional Growth Fund Expression of Interest meeting, 6th August 2014, Portsmouth
The Portsmouth Roadshow meeting to help potential bidders of the 6th Round of the Regional Growth Fund will take place on 6th August 2014 at the University of Portsmouth at 10.00am.
The £3.2 billion Regional Growth Fund (RGF) supports eligible projects and programmes that are also raising private sector investment to create economic growth and sustainable employment.
Round 6 of the RGF opened on 19 June 2014. At least £200 million of RGF support is being made available for this round and bidders have until midday on 30 September 2014 to submit their applications to the Fund. Those bids that are selected for support will have until March 2017 to drawn down the RGF funding.
At the roadshows businesses will hear what the RGF is, what the government are looking for in a good bid and how they appraise each application.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A session.
