Annual SMI reception and buffet luncheon for Foreign Naval Attaches and Advisors in London, 2nd June 2016, London
The SMI will be organising their annual SMI reception and buffet luncheon for Foreign Naval Attaches and Advisors which will take place on HQS Wellington, the livery hall and prestigious home of The Honourable Company of Master Mariners.
The ship, with its elegant Court Room between decks, is moored on the Thames in central London. The date and time are set for Thursday 2nd June 2016 at 1215.
This is a well-established opportunity to meet and lunch with the official naval representatives from potential customer countries. It is also a good occasion to network with representatives from the Ministry of Defence, UKTI DSO and the Defence Industry as the event is also open to non-SMI members. More than one representative from each company will be most welcome.
The reception will be held, weather permitting, on the quarter-deck and will be followed by a buffet luncheon in the Court Room. This will allow everyone to circulate freely and meet the various attachés and advisers as much as possible. Luncheon will begin on completion of the reception at about 1300 and should be over by about 1500.
"EARLY BIRD" booking reductions are available up Thursday 5th May 2016; thereafter the standard cost to attend the reception and buffet luncheon will apply which is:
MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY OF MARITIME INDUSTRIES: £199+ 20% VAT (total £238.80)
NON-MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY OF MARITIME INDUSTRIES: £220+ 20% VAT (total £264.00)
