Making Marine and Maritime Science Count, COLUMBUS Conference 24th January 2018, Brussels

This important event will be an international forum to bring together partners, collaborators and interested parties to highlight Knowledge Transfer case studies and lessons learned through the work performed by the COLUMBUS project.

This final COLUMBUS annual event will provide an opportunity to discover and celebrate the COLUMBUS Knowledge Transfer methodology and its activities. This international event will also host the launch of the COLUMBUS Knowledge Transfer handbook and recommendations for European and National funding agencies to embed Knowledge Transfer systems in current and future funding mechanisms.

Training on the COLUMBUS Knowledge Transfer methodology will be offered and will be targeted towards scientists and project managers.

The conference will take place 23rd and 24th January 2018 in Brussels.

Target Audiences:
Knowledge generators including researchers, consultants and scientists; users of marine and maritime research outputs from industry, policy, science and society; funding agencies; and, research and higher education organisations.

Winners of the COLUMBUS Blue Society award for impactful Knowledge Transfer will be announced at this event.
