New conference and industry sector awards as Seawork International comes of age

Seawork International, taking place 3rd-5th July 2018 will celebrate its 21st edition as a leading meeting place for the European commercial marine sector in 2018.

Seawork 2018 will see an increased focus on vessel construction and maintenance, new award categories for the European Commercial Marine Awards (ECMAs) and a new Vessel Operations Conference; embracing the new MCA Codes of Practice, Cost Saving through Operational Efficiencies and Techniques, and the Future of Hybrid Drives.

Best Project of the Year is a new ECMA award category for challenges in marine civils or vessel operations. Judged by a panel of industry experts, the ECMAs recognise excellence and achievement across the commercial marine sector.

Over 50 influential worldwide organisations partner with Seawork. Partner presentations and meetings are an integral part of the accredited Seawork Conference; enabling both exhibitors and visitors to keep in touch with business developments and trends. Long-term partners include: Maritime and Coastguard Agency, UK Harbour Master Association, Renewable Energy Association, International Jack-Up Barge Owners' Association and UK Ministry of Defence.

With five exhibition halls, extensive waterside exhibits and 890 metres of pontoons Seawork is the platform for commercial marine businesses; attracting over 610 exhibitors bringing in excess of 10,000 products and services and over 70 vessels to a global audience of over 7,600 visitors from more than 70 countries.
