Gosport Marine Festival is coming up on Saturday 18th May 2024 and is shaping up to be another fantastic community event celebrating Gosport’s marine heritage and opportunities.

Fundraising has been particularly difficult this year, and with less than a month to go until the festival the organisers urgently need more funds to help make it happen. They are asking for businesses to act now to help to secure the event for this year and the years to come.

Even the smallest contribution will help.

After being run for a decade Gosport Marine Festival has now become an annual fixture in the local events calendar, starting off the season each spring. This year the date is Saturday 18th May 2024.

Entirely without charge to attendees, this one-day festival aims to make the most out of the town’s marine location, heritage and culture by providing a fun day of activities, entertainment, market and exhibitors.

Free have-a-go sessions for sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding (SUP) with professional instructors and all equipment provided (5 years and up).
Centred around the Cockle Pond boating lake in Walpole Park. These activities are thanks to support of the GoSport Activity Centre, Stokes Bay
Sailing Club and notably the Andrew Simpson Foundation.

Having a go extends onto dry land with additional activities such as climbing walls, axe-throwing, archery and bouncy castles. This is thanks to
the support of local organisations including the Sea Cadets, Gosport Scouts and a multitude of others.

The event is urgently looking for sponsorship; please contact :
