CAD/CAM Training Pools II project...

The aim of the project was to encourage marine companies to use advanced technology and automated production techniques.

The project enabled a range of new courses in 3D CAD/CAM to be developed specifically for the marine sector; these proved to be extremely popular.

The project looked at a strategic level to see how a more integrated 'marine skills zone' might function to encourage collaboration between various training providers.

The project has now come to an end but work is continuing at the training partners City College and Southampton Solent University.
