WICO partner successful in modifying regional legislation

WICO partner, Diputacion de Huelva, has been successful in modifying future regional legislation so that small scale wind installations will be considered separately from large scale wind parks for the process of grid-connection.

This is a very important step which was approved in late July 2011 and is an excellent result for the WICO project.

The revised legislation enables small wind installation (under 30MW) to be excluded from the normal general assessment procedures for wind installations which will be of great benefit.
