Solent LEP Trade Mission to Washington DC, 19th-21st November 2019
The Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is working with Maritime UK on a trade mission to Washington DC in the USA from 19 - 21 November 2019.
There is an opportunity for up to two business leaders from small and medium-sized businesses, involved closely with the marine and maritime sector, to accompany the Solent LEP and Maritime UK on this mission.
The successful applicants will be sponsored by the Solent LEP to attend this exciting trip to celebrate UK-US relations and discuss areas for further collaboration.
This sponsorship covers the cost of flights and accommodation.
Discussions will cover:
* Developments in each respective national maritime sector
* Key areas for negotiation in a future UK-US Free Trade Agreement
* Opportunities for enhanced collaboration and best practice sharing
To apply to be sponsored by the Solent LEP for this trade mission, your business must have been trading for at least three years; you will need to submit confirmation that you have relevant insurance cover and an ESTA for travel to the USA.
