The Digital Ocean, 18th March 2020, Oceanology International, London

Marine South East will be hosting this short interactive workshop from 12.00-12.45 on Wednesday 18th March 2020 at the Spotlight Theatre at Oceanology International at ExCel in London.

The role of maritime monitoring and surveillance is expanding rapidly, whether for shipping, EEZ management, operation of wind farms or homeland security. At the same time, the data resources available are mushrooming as nanosats, smart structures and other sensor platforms proliferate.

There is massive potential for deployment of artificial intelligence, machine-learning and other data analytics.

This short interactive workshop, held in cooperation with the Periscope Project, will discuss major challenges and state-of-the-art solutions.

The workshop will present snapshot presentations by Nick Lambert (NLAI), Michael Jones (TMA BlueTech) and Jonathan Williams (Marine South East), followed by an open discussion forum.

The event is free to attend at the Spotlight Theatre at OI from 12.00-12.45 on Wednesday 18th March 2020, ExCel, London.
