NEXT GEN Shock Mitigation Solutions Workshop postponed to 6th October 2020, Southampton

The NEXT GEN Shock Mitigation Solutions Workshop that was due to take place in March 2020 has been postponed to Tuesday 6th October 2020. The programme and format will remain the same and the majority of presenters have confirmed their availability for the new date at the Grand Harbour hotel, Southampton.

NEXT GEN gives maritime professionals operating fast workboats and RIBs the opportunity to meet other organizations with similar challenges. The unique knowledge gained helps to inform decisions that lead to improvements for in-service systems and procurement of future vessels.

All commercial operators need to understand the short and long term effects of impact and vibration on crews and passengers. Low speed workboats deal with very different Repetitive Shock & Whole Body Vibration forces to high speed military craft - but pain is pain!

Presenters include UK Maritime Pilots, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Marine Accident Investigation Branch and the RNLI.

Industry experts showing latest innovations include SEAir flying boats and foiling systems, Shockwave Seats, SKYDEX Technologies, Scot Seats, KPM Marine and Dyena Offshore Systems.
