Get recognised for your training initiatives with the Edge Awards 2007

Edge Awards logo

Now in their third year, the Edge Awards are our way of recognising and rewarding organisations that provide practical learning opportunities for young people. The Awards celebrate everyday firms doing extraordinary things to develop a new generation of skilled workers in a wide range of industries. We're interested in all kinds of practical learning initiatives, from standard work experience placements to nationally-recognised qualifications and apprenticeships, and everything in-between.

Last year, the Awards unearthed some amazing success stories, and this year they have more than £300,000 to invest in companies that can prove that their training initiatives really make a difference. As well as forward-thinking organisations, we're looking for amazing individuals that are forging successful careers thanks to practical learning.

You can nominate your company or an individual for an award by completing the online entry form. Go to http://www.edgeawards.co.uk for more information.

Entries are short listed to three winners in each of 12 regions, meaning each region will have a 'Small Business Award' winner, a 'Business Award' winner and a 'Practical Learner Award'. All regional winners then stand a chance of scooping one of the coveted national prizes.

All winners will receive a prize from Edge to reinvest in providing even more effective training. Here's how the prizes break down across the categories:
Regional winners (x12)
Small Business Award £5k
Business Award £10k
Practical Learner Award £2k

National winners
National Winner: Small Business Award £25K
National Winner: Business Award £50k
National Practical Learner Award £10k
